FACIAL LIFECASTING

One to one tuition showing you how to take a facial lifecast safely, accurately and with confidence.

Lifecasting is the fundamental building block for all prosthetic make-up artistry. The creation of an accurate facial lifecast quite literally gives you the artiste’s features in the palm of your hand.

Gain expert advice on a Masterclass seminar specifically designed to give you hands on experience in taking facial lifecasts and also offers the opportunity to have a cast taken from your own face, should you wish.

The demonstrations and supervision of the practical seminar work is undertaken by expert lifecast artist John Woodbridge and each seminar delegate is supervised and assisted on a one-to-one basis by an experienced lifecast artist.

The clear demonstrations and practical instruction is supplemented by detailed course notes.

Additional specialised techniques are also discussed including action-pose lifecasting, sectional casts and lifecasting with skin safe lifecast-grade silicone rubbers.

With only a small number of seminar places on each Masterclass, every delegate - whether expert or novice - is guaranteed to be provided with all the assistance they require to gain the maximum benefit possible from the seminar programme.

Full health and safety instruction is given during the seminar and safer working practises are employed throughout. All items of personal protective equipment (conforming to the appropriate EC safety standards) are supplied for your use during the seminar.

With practical lifecasting experience, the prosthetic make-up artist can recreate every detail of their artiste’s features - preserved forever in casting plaster.

With a lifecast, tiresome fittings and trials with the real artiste are reduced and prosthetics can be made to fit exactly to the artiste’s face, allowing the make-up artist to blend away the appliances invisibly into the surrounding skin.

Don’t forget to bring a stills camera to the Masterclass for creating step by step photos of your work - as well as some fantastic shots for your portfolio!

At the end of each exciting programme, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance detailing the skills demonstrated during the Masterclass.
